We are now accepting applications from teams of expert kayakers. Each team must consist of exactly 4 kayakers. These kayakers will be judged on their ability to endure the hardships and technical challenges found on a multi-day kayaking expedition in a remote location.
We have already decided where the trip is going, but it's a secret. We can, however, tell you one thing the trip will NOT be: Easy.
On August 8 of this year we will announce a winning team, and tell them where they are going.
The trip will depart sometime between August 8, 2008 and August 8, 2009.

All applications must be on video.
Each applicant must also submit a short bio sheet and a signed waiver , which will be available from this site when it's ready.
The deadline for applications is August 31st, 2008
The winner and location for the IR Vacation to Hell contest will be announced shortly after the dealine.
The sponsors gear must be used by all members of the winning team during the Vacation to Hell, when appropriate.
The entire trip will be captured on video, as well as preperations for the trip and post-trip wind down. The winning team will be expected to help in any way possible to make this video. The winnng team will also be expected to make and maintain a blog documenting the trip. This blog will start immediately after the winning team is announced, and be terminated at the end of the trip.
Contributions must be made at least once a week during the preperation of the trip and daily from the field. During the trip, a satallite phone will be provided to allow for updates. The blog and any photos and video captured in the course of the planning or execution of the trip will be the property of Penstock Productions.
